HAhaha... very cool! Glad you got everything down... :-) The worse thing to happen is to have a damn cool bike to only admire it... LOL I am getting my 8 years old to learn track-stand now... I told him that if he can track-stand reasonably well (at least 30 seconds) on his "kiddie" bike, I will buy him a new one... now he can only manage 4 seconds... sporadically that is... LOL.
Yo bro, I know how it feels like man... but not to worry. Take a photo of the brake pad that you have. Then send to me at jackhii at gmail.com. I have some Worldcat brake pads which I recently bought from Singapore. They might be suitable, as I bought them for my Monty's Magura HS33 and my ECHO brakes. I can let you have it for the price I bought it for... at RM29 a pair... :-) Let me know... I only have 1 pair left... the other I sold to Sean... LOL. Have a look at the pads here... http://we.wildgeeks.org/2009/03/worldcat-riser-handlebar-and-some-brake.html IF you interested, bring the bike the when u come over and we will fix it in no time. If these brake cannot be used, again... not to worry... LOL. My friends in Singapore sells the Yaabaa bike.. :-) Can probably order from them too... :-)
Heya Jed. That's great! When is your planned trip? I go to Sri Petaling almost every Saturday, as I send my kids there for tuition. We can go riding either in Bukit Komenwel Park or Bukit Jalil Park, but it kinda has to be on Saturday.. :-) My house is in Bangi, almost in Nilai... so quite far... LOL. Let me know when you guys are planning your trip and I will arrange for us to ride with the rest of the guys. Cheers!
Hi Jed.. HAhah... yeah man... I found out from Nico. It's great to get all involved... makes it so much fun. I am trying to fix-up a small bike for my 9 year old to learn track-stand... gonna get the brakes this weekend... hehe. I did extend an invite to all of you to come over and ride in KL.. :-) But not to see me ride lah... LOL... my standard still very noobie lah... but can learn together... LOL. In June, Singapore will be having their Round 2 Competition. If possible, you should maybe plan a trip just to see how those pros ride.. amazing!!! LOL.
