I think what you mean is where to buy a TRIAL bike or do you actually mean TRAIL?

Currently, the closest place for you to buy a trial bike is from Singapore. The next closest place would be Bangkok. But I would highly recommend Singapore, as they have a lot of biketrial riders and thus more choices.

Based on the little that I know, the following are some famous trial bike brands.

• Monty
• Koxx
• Echo
• Adamant
• Zoo
• Onza
• Brisa

There are more brands out there that I am not aware of but other famous brands like Norco, Giant and GT have urban trial bikes only, non-mod.

Since you stay in Johor, going to Singapore is easy... :-)

Btw, I will be going down to Singapore this September... and I am going to pick up a 20" Monty... I am really looking forward to it... LOL

A couple of days ago, I heard that there was a local supplier selling trial bikes. Let me find out more and let you know. The price range is from RM 1800 to RM 2500. I dunno what brand,

Yo Joseph,

Found out some details about the trial bike they are distributing in KL. It is an older model of Monty (219Alps I think) for beginners. They brought the bikes in from Taiwan. Apparently, they are the older model of the 219 and out of production already. I heard that they brought in about 20 bikes only.

It looks almost exactly like this...

I believe they are selling the v-brake model for RM1800+

The 2009 monty 219 kamel is avaliable at attitudebikes(singapore).The magura HS-33 model will be more useful as the mechinical V brakes are not so powerful.Most people get fed up with their V brakes they change to hydrallics(Hs-33).

The 2009 219mag comes with twin HS33s.
